Real estate website Redfin just came out with the September edition of its market tracker, and no surprise here, housing prices keep climbing. Whereas the median sales price for a house has already topped $1 million in San Francisco, the combined pool of single-family homes and condos is still hovering below the million-dollar mark. But it’s catching up!
September’s overall median sale price reached $950K, up a sizable 17.8 percent over last year. Meanwhile, the uptick in one-bedrooms listing for more than $1 million continues apace. It won’t be long now?
