The convention, which is expected to attract 45,000 people to the Moscone Center in the SoMa district, will force the closure of Howard Street, between Third and Fourth streets, from 8 p.m. on Thursday night to 3 p.m. on Oct. 7. A segment of Mason Street between O’Farrell and Ellis streets, will be closed from 2 a.m. on Oct. 1 to 10 a.m. on Oct. 7.
