In the fast-rising and quickly changing Mission Bay neighborhood, 267 new condos are about to hit the market in the upcoming Arden by Bosa building. Arden is the third project in the neighborhood by Bosa Development, following Radiance in 2008 and Madrone, which opened in 2011. The new condos are expected to be slightly higher-end than those in either of Bosa’s previous buildings, and amenities will include a pool, a spa, a gym and a social room. Renderings of the building, which was designed by Vancouver firm Chris Dikeakos Architecture, show two glassy towers connected by a five-story midrise. Each unit will have one allocated parking space, a situation that would not be possible with a newly approved building but that was grandfathered in from long-ago approvals.
The complex is under construction now, with an expected completion date of fall 2015. The sales office will open this spring. Floor plans haven’t been released yet, but the mix is looking to be primarily 2-bedrooms, with about 45 3-bedrooms and a smattering of one-beds. Arden by Bosa is just one of the many buildings under construction in its immediate neighborhood. In fact, Long Bridge Street, where Arden is now rising, is nearly entirely closed off for all of the construction.
